Salt Con End of Summer Part 2

I am happy, this is the second blog in a row that I am getting done.  So here we go. 

As you can see that, this the photo was not taken at my normal spot, so there are no shoes but that is ok because they are the same peep toe shoes that I wore in the last post.  and I think they work great for both outfits. 

I guess I will start at the bottom and work my way up this time, so even though I have done their own blog and talked about them in the last blog, the pantyhose from West loop are amazing.  At the end of this day, I had to throw them away because they had holes in them, but It was the fifth time I had worn them so I think that is a good deal because most of the stockings I have worn only lasted two times before I had to get rid of them. 

The skirt was made by Lilly White, but I bought it at Uptown Cheapskate.  It has a zipper in the back, and that is about it.  This is just one of the many leather skirts I have, and I love it. 

The top was also bought at Uptown Cheapskate, I went in looking for more blouses when I found this top.  It comes from  Aeropostale.   

I don’t know I have kind of found this liking to off the shoulder tops, I chose this outfit and the one from part one because I was going to a con in June that I had picked out both of these and an off the shoulder dress.  I was not able to go to that con so there is End of Summer, and later I will do a blog on the dress.   And so, you have it two outfits for two days of gaming and until next week when I have another outfit.

Saltcon End of Summer part 1

So, I am going to start this blog with a story.  I went to a job interview and in the bathroom in the lobby was a full-length mirror that was tall enough to get all of me even after I put the heels on.  So even if I did not get the job, I had a place to get photos for this blog.  Then when I was at my aunt’s house to feed her dog’s I also found a mirror that will work, so now I have no reason to not have a blog out every week. 

So, let’s get into it.  There is an end of Summer game con coming up at the end of the month and this will be the outfit I wear on day one.  One day I was shopping at Ross in Les Vegas and I found it. 

The off the shoulder blouse is from Haute Monde; I have never heard of them and I guess it doesn’t really matter.  I love it, and I am sure it could go with most of the skirt I have but it goes best with this one. 

The Skirt is from The Sensational collection, I don’t know what the rest of the collection looks like and it has been a few years, so I am sure the collection has changed a few times.  But this skirt is one of the best skirts I have bought.  I love the ruffle and just everything about it. 

The Stockings are From West Loop at Walgreens, I talked about them in my last blog.  I really like these I have now worn them 5 times and they are still looking good, whereas some of the others start running or getting holes in them after the second use.  I tried to see who makes them, but the search only gave me that you can buy them at Walgreens, so I don’t know. 

The Peep toe shoes come from Payless they are the last pair I ever got at that store.  I love them. 

The bra is my Nude Bombshell from Victoria Secret.  But unless this is your first time reading my blog you already knew that.

New Stockings

If you have been following the blog for a while now. You know that I love me some No Nonsense stockings.  While this blog is because I might have, found something better at least for me. 

I have this Outfit that pictures will come soon, It is a blue snakeskin faux leather mini skirt and a blue see-through top, and my blue bombshell from Victoria Secret.  The two times that I have worn it, I just wore it with black stockings, but I thought it would look better if I could get some Navy ones. 

So, the adventure begins, of course, my first thought was to go to No Nonsense.com and see what they have.  The answer is nothing and when you email them to find out if they have any, they don’t get back to you.  I also went and looked on the Walgreens website, and found some but every time I went to the store to get them, no one had ever heard of the brand I was looking for. 

I found some Navy tights at Wal-Mart, but I really don’t like Wal-Mart and it is kind of too hot to be wearing tights.  So, I did not get them and was starting to give up hope that I was going to find any.  Then I got the idea that maybe the Burlington Coat Factory might have some.  I and bought pantyhose there before and like them. 

I did indeed find Navy pantyhose and Burlington, I also found some gray ones, but that is a different story.  This story is that between finding Navy stockings that fit great and don’t roll down and having a new liking to the West loop, I think I have found a new product to use.  the West Loop at Walgreens and the Burlington brad both cost less than No Nonsense and they seem to be made better.  And on a plus note, they both fit way better than any of the No Nonsense one ever does.

The Pink Uncon

It has been a month since I went to Ogden Uncon in Ogden Utah.  While at the con I decided that I was going to wear pink.  I was going to be there for 3 days but ended up being there for only 1 and a half.  The Miniskirt I wore on day two will be posted later when I have better photos and the dress, I was going to wear on day three is already on the blog, but there will be a better one of those too. 

I don’t remember where the skirt came from but I bought it at a thrift store, it was maybe 3 dollars and I am sad, and the reason I am using this photo, instead of waiting for a photo shoot is because I was not at the con very long when the zipper broke. 

The stocking are Honey colored and are from No nonsense. They started running before I even got to the con, and the closest store that would have replacements were a mile away.  I bought a 3 pack and only have one pair left. 

The Nude shoes came from Payless.  I don’t know what I am going to do now that they are out of business.  I hope I can find shoes at Uptown Cheapskate.  that would make my day on so many levels. 

The top and undershirt I got from my boss, and I don’t remember what brand they are, but when I wear them again, I will let you know.  and the bra is one of the I have a got that doesn’t pay me a lot, but I need a bra, so I got it at Wal-Mart.  I will be getting a Pink bra from my favorite store when I can.

       I was thinking about how I want, to do this blog more.  I just need better photo's, and I am working on that, but right now I am really high on Victoria Secret.  You all know I like them, but I need to share a story with you.
      Last week I had to order a new bra, and the Mailman lost it.  I got on the chat and told them that the mailman lost it, they asked what type, color and what address I wanted it sent to?  two days later it was at my house.

Maidiens and Mimics

I was so busy playing in the game, that if forgot to take a picture, so we are going to go back to the old way of doing the blog.  So, this blog is about going to the Charity event Maidens and Mimics, a D&D game to support the Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault.  Before we get in the meat of the blog, the event raised about 300 dollars. 

As fun as the event was, I still don’t like AL and I am going to do it when there is a charity event, but here we go.  This top I got from my boss, and it is a nice top, I like the diamond shape cutouts that are all over it.  I did not take a picture, but I were my nude strapless bra with it, and we don’t need to go over where I got it, because if you follow the blog you already know where it came from.  I got my makeup done for the event, and that was fun, but I wish the lady had used the lipstick I had asked her to. 

In all fairness, I love all my miniskirts, but I love this miniskirt.  I think maybe it is the ruffles or that fact that it is a dark gray.  I have had this for some time, but I like having tops that go good with my skirts, and until I got the top, I did not have anything that I thought went with it.  I wore Honey colored pantyhose with the skirt and Nude Heels.  I am trying to find some gray shoes to go with it and am hoping I can find some before the next time I wear this outfit. 

The next event is on April 6th, and I will make sure I have pictures of the outfit I wear to it.  Right now, I am thinking pink, for Spring, but I have not set that in stone yet so we will see. So until next time keep gaming.

Being the Boss in a formal Dress.

I love dressing up to work on D&D, but let’s face it I love dressing up for anything.  I don’t know where this dress came from at the start.  But I got it at Uptown Cheapskate for 18 dollars.  It is nice when ladies have each other backs.  When I was going to get my makeup done the zipper on the dress broke, and I was worried that I was not going to be able to dress up, but with the ladies help at the store we were able to fix it, and all was good. 

I was planning on making a day of being dressed up and working on the game, but it did not take long to finish what I was working on, and I did not bring the next part of my project, so I had to go home.  I got a new folder, so I think I will just start carrying everything I need with me, so I don’t have to worry about not having what I need anymore.  Plus, it would be the boss lady thing to do. 

There is one thing I need to talk about.  I had to drop the car off for my wife at her work so she could get home, and then walk a mile to the game store.  While walking some dude honk at me, and one time that is fine and cool, I kind of like it, but then he honked four more times and that is not cool, you don’t need to be a creep. 

I am excited for next week, it is the D&D charity event to support a local woman’s shelter.  I am hoping that I can find a gray bra to match my outfit in time, but if I don’t, I am sure I will find something that looks good.
